Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you want to know about Tidy Tails.
Straight answers. No fluff. If your question is not here, just text Ben at 813-419-0535.
How much does dog waste removal cost in FishHawk, FL?
Tidy Tails' Basic plan starts at $64.99/month for one dog with once-weekly service. Two dogs cost $78.99/month, three dogs $88.99/month, and four dogs $98.99/month. The Elite plan (twice-weekly with spray included) starts at $120/month for one dog. All plans are billed monthly with no contracts.
Do I need to be home for the service?
No. You do not need to be home. Ben handles everything on his own. He accesses the yard through your gate, scoops the entire yard, hauls the waste off-site, and texts you a photo confirming your gate is closed and locked before he leaves.
How quickly can I get started?
Most people are set up within 24 hours of their first text to Ben. Text 813-419-0535, tell him about your yard and how many dogs you have, and he will help you pick a plan and a day that works.
Is the waste left in my trash can?
No. Tidy Tails takes all waste off-site, every visit. Unlike many services that bag waste and leave it at the curb, Ben hauls everything away. Your trash can stays clean.
Does Ben work with large dogs or multiple large dogs?
Yes. Several Tidy Tails clients have three or more large dogs, including English mastiffs, labs, and other large breeds. Ben is not intimidated by the big jobs. Large multi-dog households may want to consider the twice-weekly Elite plan to stay ahead of accumulation.
What is the sanitizing spray and do I need it?
The sanitizing and deodorizing spray kills bacteria and odor that scooping alone cannot remove. Dog waste leaves E. coli, Salmonella, and roundworm eggs in your grass that can persist for months. The spray addresses that risk. It costs $10 per session and can be added to Basic or Standard plans 2 to 4 times per month. It is already included with the Elite plan.
What areas does Tidy Tails serve?
Tidy Tails is route-based out of FishHawk and serves FishHawk, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Bloomingdale, Wimauma, and the Boyette area. If you are not sure whether your address is covered, text Ben at 813-419-0535.
How often does Ben come?
Basic and Standard plans include once-weekly service. The Elite plan includes twice-weekly service. Ben comes on the same day every week. Consistent scheduling is a core part of the service.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No contracts. No cancellation fees. Service is billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. Ben believes in earning your business every month, not locking you in.
What payment methods does Tidy Tails accept?
For specific payment method details, text Ben directly at 813-419-0535. He will confirm available options when you set up service.
How do I know Ben completed the service?
After every visit, Ben sends a text message confirming completion, along with a photo showing your gate is closed and locked. You will always know the job was done.
What is a one-time cleanup and when should I request one?
A one-time cleanup is available for yards that have built up significantly or that need a fresh start before beginning weekly service. Pricing is quoted on-site based on yard size and current conditions. Text Ben at 813-419-0535 to ask about availability.
Is Tidy Tails a franchise or a local business?
Tidy Tails is locally owned and operated by Benjamin, a 15-year-old FishHawk resident. It is not a franchise. When you text Tidy Tails, you are texting Ben directly. He is the same person who will clean your yard every week.
What is included in the Elite plan?
The Elite plan includes twice-weekly full yard scooping, sanitizing and deodorizing spray (frequency agreed on with Ben, typically 2 to 4 times per month), waste removal off-site after every visit, and a gate photo after each service. It starts at $120/month for one dog.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Text Ben and he will adjust your plan. There are no switching fees. If you start on Basic and want to upgrade to Standard or Elite, or add the spray, just let him know.
How did Tidy Tails start?
Benjamin launched Tidy Tails in December 2024 at 15 years old while balancing school and athletics. The business was featured in the Osprey Observer in February 2026 and has grown entirely through neighborhood referrals and five-star reviews.
